How to Make a Booking

1. Choose an outing or course from this site that suits your ambitions. Any number of days can be booked and courses need not necessarily run Monday to Friday or even over consecutive days.
2. Contact Skye Guides by telephone ([00] +44 [0]1471 822 116) or email to arrange dates and check availability for your booking. A booking form will then be sent out to you.
3. Confirmation of your booking will be made once the booking form has been received with appropriate deposit.

Price List for Mountaineering

DAILY CHARGES

Daily rates for private guiding are calculated as follows:

• £140 for one person; £40 for each extra person.
• Discount may be given for bookings of 3 days or over.
• Discount may be possible for groups of more than 4 clients (booking together) depending on the objectives.

It may be possible to join a party if ambitions and ability are compatible.

• Price £80 per day.

COURSES

Prices for 5-day courses are based on a minimum of two people per course.

• Individual (1:1) guiding on 5-day courses is available at an additional cost of £250. (By arrangement only.)

Prices are dependant on the nature of the outing. Factors include the degree of danger involved, numbers in the party and the level of input by Skye Guides.

High adrenalin outing for 8. Tyrolean Traverse and sea-level traversing. £440 (2 guides)

Photography outing for sunset and dawn from Red Cuillin. 1 client. £150

Guide party of 12 through Glen Sligachan from Coruisk following a boat trip approach from Elgol. Geology, natural history and photography. £180

Guide party of 5 along the Trotternish Ridge. 2 days with an overnight camp. £400

Provide Industrial Roped Access safety for film crew in a Quarry. 2 technicians and equipment provided. £550

Guide a coach party of 40 on a short, easy but beautiful walk (2 hour). £160

Natural history walk, 2 clients, seeking otters and eagles (4 hours). £140
