The Cuillin are situated centrally on the island.

It is, however, a large island and petrol expensive. Accommodation is rarely difficult to find (English Whit sun holiday, last week of May, is the only notable exception). A few suggestions are listed below but a full list can be obtained from the Tourist Information centres. Ideally customers on five-day courses should be based in a band between Broadford and Portree in order to keep travelling times to a minimum.
